The First Day of School

Hi my fellow readers! This post will be a little different, because I have a lot of things to say.

First of all, thank you to my followers: Chai, Paradise, and Dino.

    Okay, now for the real part. Yesterday was the first day of school!

It was really fun, and pretty boring at the same time, to be honest. First let me talk about the boring part.

    Since morning, it was meetings, meetings, meetings. As you know, we are doing remote learning for the first marking period this year, so everyone has to meet up remotely and individually. My teachers are really nice, though. They both believe that we don't need to have a lot of work. Which is why, so far they are only giving tiny, tiny bits of work to do.

    Anyway, the only boring part is that we have so many meetings. First, we have a meeting for homeroom. Then we have a meeting for special, and after that, another homeroom meeting. Then, ELA and Social Studies, and after that, one last meeting for math and science. I'll post the schedule below.

    But now for the good part. We get so much fun things to do! After all the meetings, of course. We got some pretty cool assignments, so far. First of all, one of our teachers is really interested in the medieval times. That's why our class is medieval time-themed. So we got to decorate our own shields! She gave a picture of a shield on Google Classroom, and we got to customize it and make it represent ourselves. We also got to create a motto for ourselves. This is one of the examples our teacher gave us:

"We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated." -Maya Angelou

    I think that motto is really cool. Anyway, chao! I really feel like I need a break from staring at the screen all day. Byeee!

    The first font is techy-ier. And I understand the pain of all those meetings. In our orientation, I had to just attend a meeting, wait 5 min, attend a meeting, wait 5 min, 4 times in the morning and night (night is for Back to School). It was annoying lol.

    Yeah I liked the first techy font better too. But I didn't know which one to choose.
    And yeah, the meetings are really annoying. SUPER annoying.
    I just had meetings again today. But at school we have a checkbook, so we earn money if we do something good, and the teachers take away something if we do something bad. (It's not really money.) And we get $20 if we attend the first meeting, sooo... I'm trying to ignore the irritation.🤣🤣

      Hiii! I just checked the calendar, and exactly TWO weeks ago was our last day of school! It's 9:14 am right now, which means two weeks ago I was in Morning Meeting at school on our last day. I still miss fifth grade. It was fun. I still don't know how I feel about entering middle school, but I guess I'm kinda excited.          Anyway, I'm kind of bored right now. A Lot of Things to Tell You!

      Hiiii!!!! It's been a pretty long time. My last post was in the beginning of summer, and now there less than a week left until middle school!!! I went from excited to nervous to terrified to excited again. It's been crazy . We got our schedules yesterday and the school supplies list came out sometime before. Everything's starting to feel so real .     Okay, more about middle school later. So in the beginning of August we had the BEST trip EVER to North Carolina, and even though the car ride was super long, it was completely worth it.     We reached at like 3am and my aunt and uncle were awake because it was their new house and they were waiting for us to arrive.     Right. Before I go, I wanted to talk about COUSINS. I literally never  understood this until like a few months ago.      So. Your First Cousins     Your parents' siblings' kids. Your Second Cousins     Your parents' cousins' kids. Your Third Cousins     Your parents' second cousins 's kids. And it goes on. That's basically it 😅. So Chai and Paradise are my second cousins. Our other cousin who came with his dad to NC (Read the post below) is also my second cousin, but he's Chai and Paradise's first cousin. Yeah. That's all. Now  chao!
