A Lot of Things to Tell You!

 

    Hiiii!!!! It's been a pretty long time. My last post was in the beginning of summer, and now there less than a week left until middle school!!! I went from excited to nervous to terrified to excited again. It's been crazy. We got our schedules yesterday and the school supplies list came out sometime before. Everything's starting to feel so real.

    Okay, more about middle school later. So in the beginning of August we had the BEST trip EVER to North Carolina, and even though the car ride was super long, it was completely worth it.

    We reached at like 3am and my aunt and uncle were awake because it was their new house and they were waiting for us to arrive. There were also a few of their other friends there but I was too tired to do anything, and everything else that day was completely crazy.

    There were no beds or anything because it was a new house, so we had to drive all the way to South Carolina (there were a lot of trips back and forth to NC and SC that week) to their old house where they still had most of their stuff. We ended up sleeping there. And the next morning we had to get ready in their old house and drive all the way back to NC for their final housewarming party.

    Everything after that was slow and calm I guess. Chai and Paradise were there too with our other cousin and his dad. We spent most of that week just playing around (we barely went outside because of the burning SC heat) with the baby and his 4 y.o. brother (they were SO cute). It was fun though. At times it did get boring because we couldn't go outside because of the heat and there wasn't a TV or anything inside because, well, it was a new house.

    But the last few minutes was sad. Everyone was saying goodbye at the same time and I knew I was going to miss all of them. We were driving back with Chai and Paradise, and we would stop at their house five hours away. The drive back was a lot faster than the drive to NC, thank goodness. We stopped at Chai and Paradises' house to stay there for a day. And that's when I realized that it had been a year since they made their blogs with us. It felt like sooo much shorter. 

    Well yeah. That was our trip. Oh, and I'm also working on a new short story. It's officially unnamed, but I'll post it within a week because I still need to make some quick changes. My friend is the only one who read it besides my writing teacher, so you guys will be one of the first readers.

    Speaking of writing, this post has been very unprofessional. I didn't think about anything and I just wrote however I felt, so sorry if I sound... simple and awkward. I normally don't like it when my writing is like that, but this can be an exception. I wanted to just take a break and write what I felt.
