     Hi again. So I was thinking about writing a story, just for the sake of this blog. Hope you enjoy!

The Perfect Town

Chapter 1

Doris Parks

    Dove Danvers from Shadyside Town loved her school. She loved her entire town. She had a perfect life. Until Doris Parks came along.

    Dove was just about to walk into Shadyside Middle School one Thursday morning when she heard a voice behind her.

"So this dump is going to be my new school?"

    Dove stopped. Then she turned around. A girl, about a foot taller than her, was looking around at the outside of Shadyside Middle, leaning on a flagpole.

    Fury raged through Dove. Her school was the best. There was not one problem about it. And nobody could change that.

"Well, I think that this dump happens to be the world's most awesome middle school," Dove said, craning her head upward to have eye contact with the new girl.

    The girl looked down at Dove. "And who might you be?"

    Dove glared up. "Dove Danvers. Shadyside seventh grader. What's it to you?"

    The girl just smiled and walked into the school, Dove fuming from behind.

    That afternoon as Dove opened up her locker to store away her history books, she heard a voice behind her. But this one was different. Once again, she turned around to see none other than Dove's very best friend, Valerie.

    "Oh, it's you. Hey Val."

    "Yeah, 'Course it's me. Who'd you think?"

    "I thought it was that rude girl from today morning. The one I told you about during lunch?"

    "Oh her. Yeah. By the way, did you see the new detention teacher? Victor McGalley managed to take a picture of her when he was in detention today. He posted the pic on ShadyGlam," Valerie said, scrolling through her phone, "Here!"

    Valerie held her phone up, and Dove gasped.


Author's note: So I'll be publishing every chapter in a separate post, so I'll have time to write, instead of posting it all at once. So who do you think it is? You might be a little surprised. Stay tuned for the next chapter!

      Hiii! I just checked the calendar, and exactly TWO weeks ago was our last day of school! It's 9:14 am right now, which means two weeks ago I was in Morning Meeting at school on our last day. I still miss fifth grade. It was fun. I still don't know how I feel about entering middle school, but I guess I'm kinda excited.          Anyway, I'm kind of bored right now. I'm waiting for my math class to start. Apparently in middle school we're going to miss the regular classes since we're going to Honors math (I've never heard of this way of teaching Honors before, but I don't know.). So the classes are meant to catch us up on the regular classes we were supposed to go to.     The classes are slightly boring because I already know most of the stuff. A Lot of Things to Tell You!

      Hiiii!!!! It's been a pretty long time. My last post was in the beginning of summer, and now there less than a week left until middle school!!! I went from excited to nervous to terrified to excited again. It's been crazy . We got our schedules yesterday and the school supplies list came out sometime before. Everything's starting to feel so real .     Okay, more about middle school later. So in the beginning of August we had the BEST trip EVER to North Carolina, and even though the car ride was super long, it was completely worth it.     We reached at like 3am and my aunt and uncle were awake because it was their new house and they were waiting for us to arrive.     Right. Before I go, I wanted to talk about COUSINS. I literally never  understood this until like a few months ago.      So. Your First Cousins     Your parents' siblings' kids. Your Second Cousins     Your parents' cousins' kids. Your Third Cousins     Your parents' second cousins 's kids. And it goes on. That's basically it 😅. So Chai and Paradise are my second cousins.
